About Cubicle Gangster

Hello, and welcome to Cubicle Gangster.

This site will act as a shared blog, written by individuals who work (as you may have already guessed) in a cubicle, or other similar office environment. This site is here to offer a brief reprieve to those who spend all day glued to a computer screen, doing who knows what. Here we vent our feelings on whatever topic we feel like venting on that particular day… global politics, office politics, technology, fashion, popular culture… whatever.

Who are we? It’s not important. What is a “cubicle gangster”? Who knows. But, I like the idea that the phrase brings to mind… striving to “keep in real” in an environment that is anything but real. What do I mean by this? The office environment is like a parellel universe. People speak different languages. The dumbest of ideas can become brilliant just by changing the words around. Your “to-do list” becomes your “action items”… your everyday tasks become “initiatives”… your coffee cup becomes your “concave interface for mission-critical caffeinated initiatives”.

This site isn’t a personal blog. It is something I have created to give my fellow cube monkeys something to break the monotony.

As this site grows, we may have more focus. But as for now, please bear with us in our infancy.
